RADON TESTING
We provide SHORT TERM (48 hr) testing and LONG TERM (91+ Days) testing. Breathing radon over time increases your risk of lung cancer. Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the United States. Nationally, the EPA estimates that about 21,000 people die each year from radon-related lung cancer. Only smoking causes more lung cancer deaths.
AIR QUALITY TESTING
Air quality testing (also known as air sampling or air monitoring) identifies the presence of pollutants like mold, asbestos and VOCs in indoor air.
MOLD TESTING
Mold testing is a procedure which is performed to look for signs of mold in a building. While mold testing cannot necessarily identify the species of mold present, or where it is located, it can be used to gather information about mold populations.
ASBESTOS TESTING
Asbestos is a naturally occurring mineral that can be pulled into a fluffy consistency. Asbestos fibers are soft and flexible yet resistant to heat, electricity and corrosion. These qualities make the mineral useful, but they also make asbestos exposure highly toxic.
LEAD BASED PAINT TESTING
Lead based paint is paint that includes lead in its formulation. Lead has historically been used as a pigment to make yellow and white paints, and it adds a number of properties to paint that made it a desirable additive before people realized the danger associated with it.
